Delegate D86, a July 2008-drop son of Weebollabolla Waratah W26, was the heaviest in the sale at 900 kilograms, and with plenty of style and softness caught the eye of Les Redman and his mother, Dot, from 'Wattamolla', Mitchell, Queensland. Mr Redman liked the bull's hindquarter, growth for age and temperament and said it would be a handy addition to their herd of 350 head of Shorthorn breeders they will join this year.

Co-vendor, Jen Munro, said she was very pleased with the result and thought it was great to see both new and repeat buyers taking home bulls. She was also pleased with the quality they offered which was seen as value for money by some of the buyers, who bought more than they initially planned to due to the reasonable prices.
