Norland Pastoral Pty Ltd has invested further down the supply chain by becoming a shareholder in Austgrains Pty Ltd, a niche supply manager of quality grains, pulses and products that supply the food industry. As well as its seed grading and cleaning business, Austgrains is currently developing an inland rail/road hub on 32 hectares of railway land just outside Moree, to put freight from road onto rail, south to Melbourne, the west and north to Queensland.
